Zaw Zaw Myo is a gay man from Myanmar who fights for the rights of other persons, like him, who live with HIV. He has previously worked for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and now travels the country working on educational and awareness campaigns, involving innovative methods such as theatre and role-playing. Zaw Zaw is also engaged in LGBTI advocacy and opposes current laws criminalizing same-sex sexual activity in Myanmar – he affirms that these laws are ultimately damaging the sexual health of LGBTI persons.
